Club saddened to learn of the death of Supporters Club travel steward It is with great regret that we received news today of the passing of Ralph Shaw, long time Supporters Club Travel Steward and former Committee member. Ralph, a former fireman at Bristol Airport, has been a valued servant of the Supporters Club since his retirement and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. As well as his duties stewarding our coaches to every Rovers away game Ralph also worked with his beloved wife Jean taking bookings and memberships before home matches in the Clubhouse bar. Our sincere condolences go to Jean and all of Ralph's family during what will now be a sad start to the new football season. Ralph's funeral will take place at the South Bristol Crematorium, off the A38 on Bedminster Down, at 1.00pm on Wednesday 7th August. All are welcome to attend but the family request no flowers or black dress. R.I.P. Ralph - you will be greatly missed!
