Loads of reports like this....which have all been lifted from his interview which starts this blog. I would take it to mean that it is Saints intention to keep Virgil. This is being said not in a bulldog defending his house kind of way, but more like a really polite Labrador hoping you won't want to come in..

I'd rather it was a Jack Russell biting your ankles if you come anywhere close.

His statement isn't nearly as definitive as the headline. "we don't see him anywhere else than in red and white stripes"

My worry is that he won't go to Stoke or Sunderland or even Lincoln for that matter, but Atlético Madrid are an option....

EDIT: But I suppose speculation on next year's home strip is over before it started ;0

My cousin had a border collie that was quite happy to let you into the house but would not let you leave. He'd go berserk if you went anywhere near the door. Now that is the sort of dog we need at the club.

My friend has a German Shepherd who likes to bury his snout deep into your crotch and have a good old root around. He is a very friendly, even tempered animal, but he is also huge and believe me, having your goolies sniffed by this character is profoundly intimidating. The recipients of his interest are inclined to behave very carefully indeed.
