I would rather seem he leave before the weekend rather than be released after another humiliating thrashing
If they do it I think it has to be pre-West Ham. The Bournemouth game is midweek, that’s not enough time to get in and get new ideas going (sane goes for following match) So for me it’s either straight after Man City (or even during? Maybe as Haaland scores his fifth?) , or not until the World Cup
And Iwobi has somehow morphed into Ruud Gullit. Their defence is much better with Coady and Tarkowski, and the midfield totally dominated us. Whenever we ventured forward they just sat deep and packed the area, knowing that we always play it out to the wings. You’re not gonna score easily if you’re relying on crosses against Coady and Tarkowski. If Everton sign a decent striker then they will be a comfortable top half team. Credit to Lampard for turning them around in such a short time.
I always rated Iwobi as a player. Was surprised Arsenal let him go, though tbf I don't many of their fans were sorry he left.
Think it’s pretty irrelevant who is in charge when it comes to playing City. Like last season they have will have won the league before Xmas
A board at least with a bit of bottle. Ralph has had more than a fair shot. I'd say the board and fans have been very very patient with him. It's not knee jerk to bin him now
Probably wouldn’t want him as they think Lampard is one of the best managers about for some weird reason. Only Pep and maybe Conte better in the PL
They signed three players in this last window alone that beat our transfer record. Three. Not to mention the ones they already have. They also have a "unorthodox" link that allows them to get top portuguese talent that similar sized clubs have no shot at. And seemingly a free run at them. And they are below us in the table and performing much worse than last year. I'd say that sacking is definitely warranted. This is in no way saying it isn't time for Ralph. But Wolves have noticeably declined since last season despite some massive signings. A comparative I can think of is if we had also signed a 20m+ striker AND Gakpo for circa 30m and had fewer points that we currently do. And even then we'd be starting from a lower base (And yes I am aware we lost to them)
In that case perhaps I should withdraw my comment about how they seemed to have some valid points since they seem to be on something rather strong...
They are Everton fans, most deluded fan base around. They were dog **** yesterday yet they seem to think they played really well
Snippet from new piece from Jacob Tanswell this morning. Following the 2-1 loss to Everton, The Athletic can reveal: It is unlikely Hasenhuttl will be sacked imminently though many within the club believe he is on borrowed time Players voiced their concerns to the board over the manager at the start of the season Hasenhuttl’s lack of communication with the squad Emotional touchline demeanour irritated players Southampton have looked at other managers and continue to maintain those relationships
I very rarely bet on Saints. Too unpredictable, always have been; and besides, some things are far more valuable than money
They weren’t dogshit. People have got used to them being poor, and they’ve had a slow start to the season, hence most Saints fans massively overreacting to getting beat. They looked a decent side on Saturday.
Wonder if anyone is more likely to believe the Mail story now its coming from a more reputable source?
Believe the mail? Default belief level 0. The rag has an unsurpassed level of misinformation and lies. I wouldn't hang it in my toilet.
