I didn't say anything about it being simple. In fact I tried to just be factual so as not to be drawn into the debate. Yes he did want to get rid of Assad (and no doubt still would if circumstances were different) when he was using chemical weapons on his own people. I was just correcting the fact that CS said he had changed his mind from Assad to IS since Paris. The Government have wanted to take action a lot longer than that.

To say Edmund bottled it is, quite frankly, ridiculous. He has hardly played a 5 set match in his life, he was playing the world no. 16, and if anyone was fazed by the occasion it was Goffin in the first 2 sets. The Belgian's superior class won through in the end, but the young Briton can stand tall, he did just fine.
