A man is alone in an airport lounge. A beautiful woman walks
in and sits down at the table next to him.
He decides, because she's wearing a uniform, she's probably an
    off-duty stewardess.
Because her jacket is folded neatly beside her he can’t see any logos so he decides to have a go at picking her up by identifying
the airline she flies for, thereby impressing her greatly.
He leans across to her and says the British Airways motto :
    'To Fly. To Serve'.
The woman looks at him blankly. He sits back and thinks up another line.
He leans forward again and delivers the Air France motto:
'Winning the hearts of the world'.
Again she just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on
    her face.
Undeterred, he tries a third time, this time saying the Malaysian
    Airlines motto:
    'Going beyond expectations'.
The woman looks at him sternly and says:
'What the f##k do you want?'
    'Ah ha!' he says,
    "Ryanair".

Here’s one for those interested in wildlife of all kinds.
For the last 2 years or so orcas have been attacking small boats for no apparent reason. A theory previously put forward, is that when the lockdowns started there was reduced boat traffic so younger orcas grew up with fewer boats around. With more boats returning to the waters those same orcas are now defending their waters from encroachment.

“Two new attacks on sailing boats in less than 24 hours, by "Orcas" (Killer whales) in the straits of Gibraltar. Both boats with their crews had to be rescued and towed to ports by the Spanish coastguards. No injuries were reported. Since April this year there have been 20 "incidents" recorded, but since July 2020 when the problems started all of a sudden, a massive 200 cases of unwanted Orca damage and problems have been officially registered. Weird!!!

27th school shooting this year in the good ol US. It's crazy how just normal this is and yet they'd rather give the teachers guns and/or have armed security at schools rather than actually trying to sort out their weird gun obsession which is apparently more important than their childrens lives.

The 2nd Amendment has got a lot to answer for. Mind you, that amendment was designed for the era it was written in, not now. Completely outdated now.

The politicians are the ****ing idiots - more accurately the Republicans and their supporters. As Biden put it last night - why the hell do you need an assault weapon unless you intend to kill someone?

Isn’t it because the NRA are huge donors to both of the political parties so they’ve left the law unchanged. As everything it’s all about money

America has an unsolvable problem. Guns became ubiquitous because they were necessary in a large lawless country and the right to carry arms was written into the constitution because of their distrust of governments (the British at the time). Tied up with their idea of freedom and now virtually a religion (which cannot be questioned). Limiting the ownership of assault weapons is desirable in anyone’s eyes, but could result in a revolution...remember the attack when Trump was beaten. Many Americans outside the big cities still see themselves as freedom fighters. They are trapped by their history and by the fact that quite frankly they are an odd people to European eyes.
