My daughter brought her new boyfriend round to meet the parents. He was wearing a green football shirt, green football shorts, green football socks, gloves, and football boots.

Our former Dentist has had a memorial bench put in our local park. Naturally, there was no plaque.

 

Cruising through the tv channels, I discovered Forces TV which every day has Brittas Empire on (for those of us who have nicely matured). Had the tagline: 90s TV Comedy containing language and humour from that time (which means 'May actually be funny'). And it was funny: todays episode had Brittas trying to get the number for a bike lock, which had secured Sebastian Coe to a staircase, from the widow of the cyclist who had died 30 seconds into a healthy cycling event....whilst the leisure centre was under siege from a Roman re-enactment group who apparently had access to an elephant and a battering ram. And they'd only just rebuilt the centre after he burnt it down when a rocket went into a store cupboard containing fuel in buckets and margarine tubs.

Has an amateurish look about it, but it has still aged well. And I had forgotten quite how dishy Seb Coe was

I don’t think I am a conspiracy theorist but I thought the “suicide” of Jeff Epstein was considered by some to have not been a death by hanging.
Something to do with his hyoid bone having been broken, which is usually associated with manual strangulation.
I think his death was very convenient, when you consider the circles he moved in, so by that virtue alone Miss Maxwell should be worried.

 

Oh I don't disagree. But there were many espousing, with their regular "certainty", that GM would never get convicted because she's too well connected.

 

If she has any sense she will have given a list of names, dates and places to her brothers and sisters for safe keeping.

I don’t trust his accuser (and I’m one who tends to side with women). I’m sure things have happened to her, but why is she dragging Andrew into it now. If I got the courage to put in a complaint to the police, I’d certainly include a big name like Andrew right at the beginning...not add him later when I fancy some more money. And it is interesting that she wasn’t called as a witness in this trial.. I suspect she contradicts herself and is unreliable. And I’m no fan of Andrew at all.
