Here's a random question for you all...Has anyone ever built their own pizza oven? Am thinking of making one using perlite concrete built over a gym ball mould, have watched a few youtube vids and it looks fairly straightforward but was wondering if there are any pitfalls I should be aware of, and how long a life do they have?
Obviously it would be better to build it with firebricks, but it adds at least £300 quid to the cost plus requires some brick laying skills which I don't have so perlite or expanded clay concrete would be my best bet I think...
