Funnily enough for a Alcohol lover, I don't drink really beer. I however love Beck's Blue and Peroni Libera during the day in the sun and with a curry.
I'm told Lidl's 0% Perlenbacher Pils is pretty good. Generally, I don't go near lager, whether alcoholic or no. Only under the most exeptional of circumstances would I bother. I'm almost certain I'd rather have a cup of tea.
I think there are a few on here who have watched the Sporanos I have never seen it, so watched most of the very first episode, this evening. I say most of because I found it completely confusing, jumping from scene to scene with absolutely no story line, so I gave up. Is it like this all the way through? Or does it follow the usual patterns of a tv series, in which a story is developed and continued?
Stick with it - I thought that of the first couple, but it is excellent. IMO the best TV series ever. I watched it in about 9 weeks at the start of last year.
I spent a few minutes at a works do drinking a Becks Blue and telling people there was something wrong with the Beer until someone pointed out the blue label stuff was 0% My favourite 0% drink in a pub is Palmers Ginger Beer. It’s still fun and tasty and doesn’t require alcohol for flavour which in my opinion beer does
Me neither. Never seen it. There has to be a massively strong pull for me to watch any TV these days. Or, I just do a cherry pick on something I might find super intriguing. For example, last year I watched Gentleman Jack, and that was totally excellent. At the moment I listen to, and watch, amongst other people, Lex Fridman and Sam Harris on Youtube. Fridman is an MIT doctor who, when he isn't doing his daily job, interviews various knowledgeable people on AI, and Harris often talks about Free Will and Determinism. So, what popped up on iPlayer, but something called DEVS. And it is a suspense drama, set somewhen in this 2020s decade [a company has developed Quantum Computing and AI, but they still have a majority of FFVs to EVs] and one of the employees has been found to be an operative [but sadly not like Cate Archer ], and he has mysteriously disappeared. Each episode is 45+ mins long and I've just finished No. 3. The drama is slow moving but the episodes just whiz by, so I must be fully immersed in them. I'll probably see the series out. I think the best way I can describe how good it is, is that, because it is American, normally it would fill a one hour slot, which would mean 15 mins of adverts each time. If I'd had to watch it with adverts I'd have long since given up. But thank f**k this is Auntie Beeb. Here's the iPlayer link to No.1 if you are intrigued too: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p087gkct/devs-series-1-episode-1
The Elon Musk positive style sense of humour. He's referring to the UK having a decent PM. Made me chuckle:
The worst thing about that is the song is now in my head and I am humming it. Give it 10 mins and you may hear of a murder in Poole when MrsNo7 notices.
Oddly, I never found Rick Astley or his song offensive to my musical tastes, although back in the 1980's I think I inwardly groaned every time it was played, which was never-ending, it seemed to me. As the years have rolled by I've grown to realise that when I am Rick Rolled I actually enjoy it. Rick's a good singer and it's a good light pop song.

Well thank god that my son mentioned IPTV, when we chatted earlier. I had forgotten about all the films on there. Mrs B and I have watched Gemini Man (Will Smith) and The Equaliser 2 (Denzel Washington) for a bit of action and escapism.
OMG! Lockdown Hair!!!!! Just had my 4th shower (8am, one before hot tub at 3pm after all day 'working' in the garden, one after the hot tub (loads of chlorine today) and one after the fire pit (as I stunk of smoke) and OMG i need an Alice band to hold it back. I normally get it cut every 5 weeks (and keep it reasonably long)...now it has been 9 weeks ( was due a cut in lockdown week). ...well at least it isn't grey
And now for the good news. Yesterday my mouse wheel was playing up scrolling becoming progressively jerky and intermittent. I applied engineers logic. Does it need to move? No - gaffa tape Yes - WD 40 It was a yes so gave it a good squirt. No immediate improvement but, patience now a virtue of the new me, l left it overnight. Coffee brewed this morning, lappy on and sweet as a nut, total scrollability. Next fix the slow puncture front wheel of Mrs Jab's folding bike. I'm enjoying these technical challenges. Have a good day all stay safe and sane.
I have a friend who is a pilot for Virgin Atlantic but, because of this lockdown, he's off work, l asked him if he fancied doing a bit of decorating for me while he's at a loose end and he jumped at the chance. l must say, he made a lovely job of the landing.
