I arrived on holiday into San Francisco I arrived with the family in San Francisco on October 17, 1989. The plan was to spend a day or so looking round the city and then driving down the Pacific highway. I picked up the hire car from the airport and was just driving over the Golden Gate Bridge when the bridge swayed and the car jumped sideways (causing my wife to say “mind your driving!”). We pulled off at the end of the bridge and the lady in the gift shop (where all the stuff was scattered across the floor) said “did y’all like our earthquake?” The beginning of a memorable holiday .....
I did a really big trump on the sofa last week. The wife thought it was like an earthquake. Close as I’ve got to one.
To be fair Mrs No7 won’t notice a small earthquake overnight, she’ll probably just casually waft her hand in her sleep and roll over.
Ah.... dash to Helsinki Airport for flight. It’s touch and go and this weekend is my 50th birthday party. I might be in trouble.
Cheers St B.... I’ll have a great birthday either way... it is just a case of whether it’s with all my friends and family or some strangers In Helsinki
I'm ashamed and dismayed! How low can this bunch of arsehole politicians go, who won't they bend over for? "The UK, eager for post-Brexit trade opportunities, has so far refused to condemn Bolsonaro’s policies in the Amazon. The trade minister, Conor Burns, was in Brasilia on Wednesday and refused to comment directly, reportedly telling the Brazilian press that the Bolsonaro government had “legitimate ambitions to bring prosperity to its people”.
