That was my first Taste of Brew Dog and my “go to” now. I’ve had about four of their ales now. Lovely, but Punk is the Daddy! I have some tins in the house, but today was Lost Lager day!
Teslas, specifically the Model 3, are the safest cars on the road, as measured by every crash test metric. However, if there is an incident involving a Tesla, especially in the USA, the mainstream media flock to cover. If it's not a Tesla, they tend not to bother. The usual pronouncement is Bad Car, even when afterwards it's proven that it's not. The message is out there. The retraction hardly ever appears, because Tesla don't advertise, so there's nothing in it for mainstream news agencies. And in this case, Fox News was there to cover a crashed Tesla just after the Police had already pronounced that the driver had had a seizure. Even so, he walked away. Look at this: Lucky that kids weren't there. BTW, that Tesla has a glass roof which they have said is way stronger than a sheet metal roof. I've had difficulty believing that before. Not anymore.
Rivian, the adventure pickup EV company, which had been in stealth mode for a decade, and last year announced themselves, have been quietly making progress on their exciting electric vehicles. One ace they have up their sleeve is that their Pickup and big SUV has 4 motors, one for each wheel. Watch what it demonstrates here. Try this in a FFV, other than a tank or special vehicle. And the Rivian Pickup is an everyday EV An everyday EV with 4 independent motors:
Yep. I did manage to get off and then some wally started a light show with some loud banging! The winds were swirling well too!
Youtube channel, EV News Daily [and I can't find any corroborating article] is reporting that Ford are being accused of using a cheating device to report better fuel consumption on their FFV vehicles [purportedly found on F150 pickup truck so far] than the real mileage. Any astute driver was going to find this out eventually. It's utter stupidity by Ford, especially after VW and associated companies were caught with Dieselgate. Just go to Electric, Ford. You'll feel better for it, and everybody else will too.
