This is not a post entering the debate about Brownie good or bad, but just a post to remind us all that Saturday will be our first opportunity as a collective to show our
appreciation of both PB and Ash. Whatever your opinion and I know there is a massive divide between those that venerate both for what they have done for us, and those that never rated Ash, and think that Brownie along with his fellow conspirator(s) almost destroyed the club.
I would just say that the record books will never show any of that, they will just show that PB was the first manager to get us into the top flight, and that Ash was the first player to captain one club in all the divisions of the English game, and in an era when the word Legend is overused, it fits Ash as easily as any other player that has ever worn the shirt.

Personally I will be giving both a rapturous reception as my way of saying thank you.
Then we can put the past away and look to the future and the next "best trip".

Oh and if your wondering about the title of this article, it's because Saturday sees the return of "Butch Ashbee and the Suntanned kid". :emoticon-0105-wink::grin:

Seconded, but where have you been. I thought someone else was going to have to do it.

Let's not forget some appreciation for Brian Horton as well.
