Just came across this. Obviously the whole rainbow laces campaign is for a good cause but I'm more interested in the funny video our club has done to take part! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ature-Rainbow-Laces-advertising-campaign.html "I can't help that I'm gorgeous" hahaha
Ah yes, that cheeky grin and a bit of boyish arrogance. Almost makes everyone forget that he was cheating on his wife with models in a hotel room while at away games. Almost.
Giroud and half the footballing world seem to have put their foot in it somehow. Not saying it's right but a combination of a lot of money, being put on a pedastal and being constantly under the public eye does not seem to make sensible, grounded human beings. Except Santi - obvs.
I doubt most people care about what or who he does in his personal life, granted he could have done her not during away games, but honestly who gives a shot right now?
No wonder he likes Giroud so much. They be dancing in the hotel room with a bunch of hot girls all night long
This thread had me thinking back to our old England team in the last WC. I think my mates and I had worked out that all bar 3 of a line up had been caught out for dodgey stuff! I'd like to think that it's a bit better today but, back then, we had: David James - Cheating on his missus. A lot. Cashley. Nuff said. John Terry. Nuff said. Matthew Upson Glen Johnson - stole a toilet seat Gerrard - Beats guy up in club/allegedly cheating on missus Fat Frank - Cheating on wife (thought he'd been a good boy!) Barry - Milner - Rooney - Hahahaha Defoe - Got caught being noshed off in public. All classy stuff.
Nobody ever gave a **** when it came to footballing terms. If you're going to do ad campaigns where you play a cheeky chappy who's arrogant about how gorgeous and attractive he is, that's not football. And it's not the thing someone who cheats on his wife with models should be doing, anymore than John Terry should be starring in commercials saying "I can't help that women want me".
