Having seen Raheem Sterling being allowed to leave Liverpool on loan in January to another premier league club I had to think that we would be a great option for him.

We only really have Elmo, Boyd, Brady and Quinn at the moment two of those being mainly central players that can play on the wing and a manager particularly good at helping youngsters. Also would fit in with the current set of English lads trying to get in the 2014 squad.

If this were to happen though we would have to sign Livermore or Graham permanently.

Anyway what do you guys think?

Immature and of questionable character, but certainly talented. But I doubt that we'll be able to free up a loan spot, to be honest.

    Meh

He is not of questionable character. He is young and raw but would be fantastic for us and provide another layer of speed and skill.

Hasn't he just been in court for rape or assault?

If you don't get 'questionable' from his various scrapes, then I'm shocked. Are you really saying his character is unquestionable?

    Yes. Yes. Yes.

Exactly what we need down the right. Get him in.

I'd rather see us try and sign Tom Ince. I know he's holding out for a bigger club coming in, but he'd be a great signing and hopefully resolve our problem down there and chip in with a few goals.

    Sterling over Ince.

I may sound mad there, but Brady, Boyd, Quinn, Aluko (when he's not suffering a broken nail or a split end) all left footed, all good wide men.

Elmo - good but one dimensional and not stand out at this level. We need dynamism on the right wing and that means a right footed player in the Brady/Boyd/Aluko mould.

It also gives us the option to have the wide men swap flanks and cut inside when were struggling to get the ball in the box like against that pile of ****e last Saturday.

How come? Not saying you're wrong. Just wondering why.

For me, Ince is the more complete player. Sterling has had a few good games, Ince has been performing at a high level for the last couple of years. I also think Ince would be more steady defensively. Plus he'd be ours. Also, I thought Ince was right footed?

I don't think he will. His contract runs out in summer so he shouldn't be as much as Cardiff were willing to pay!

It's not even the price as to why I'd take Sterling first, it's the fact that ince is a lefty which we have plenty of where as Sterling is a right footer and we're lacking someone with a right foot in the wide areas.

Elmo is good, but as I said, he's very one dimensional. He stays wide and crosses and sometimes we're crying out fr someone to move into the channels, cut inside, get in to the box and give the lone striker some proper support.

I'll definitely agree that Ince is the better player at present, but we already have enough capable players similar to him that play his position (I believe he usually plays left side of a striker).

The most over rated player since Nick Proschwitz.

He won't cost a bomb, but your transfer budget will go on a striker.

I could have sworn he was a right winger. Whenever I've seen him play, he is on the right. If he is a left winger, I totally agree.

Am I right in thinking his contract is up in the summer? Or just crazy?

He probably plays right wing quite competently sometimes, I've seen him playing there for sure, but he is definitely a left footer and is predominantly a left winger.

He was on the right cutting in onto his left when we played them.
