What kind of reception do you think he will get Sunday, if any at all?

The goons probably told him he had to go so they could pocket a few quid. He probably didn't have a choice.

Nothing at all, I doubt 99.9% of the home crowd had ever seen him play so total apathy would be the best option.

Yep. Might change if he slots goal or two away.

I doubt it, I bet over half the people attending dont even know that he was our player.

I never give abuse to any player unless they deserve it. I was happy Gorkss god a good reception because he was great for us and he was forced out by Warnock so it would have been pretty dumb to abuse him. Save it for the likes of Boswinga or Barton.

They'll probably be some ironic comment making a droll comparison between his ability to score on and off the pitch based on his 'father of three' Sun headliner....

He's move to Liverpool was down to a combination of flab wanting to cash in and raheems mum. The package he was offered was hard to turn down

Hope we don't get on his back, he's done nothing wrong. And let's face it, we seem averse to playing any youngsters ever, whatever the circumstances. No way would he have won an England cap at his age with us.

Can't blame him for going to a better club. I'll clap him.

Young players or any players from any team that comes to LR is the enemy ... its not rocket science.

Side note: my little mate Solly March is now on the bench for Brighton .. he will play for England that lad plus he is a lot better than Sterling by a country mile

Of course. We could offer the same tantalising prospects as Liverpool and more shame on us that we didn't even put him in the first team at the age of 14. What's the problem? It's a sign of our muddled policies over the last few years that we simply have not grown our own for several years now. Where was the profit in that for our owners and agents? Far better to source our talent through Footballagentsupermarket.com.They hit the glass ceiling when they get picked to go on the pre-season tour. A year or two banging their heads against it and they move on to make way for for the next generation of hopefuls How many of our fans even know that he was once on our books?

Put him in the first team at 14? You mad, the lad simply wasn't for it at that age, he was too lightweight, take it you don't follow our youth games Yorkie !
