Hope this is right. Think we will see much more palatable football if he is allowed to build a squad that suits his style. I know with Rafa there will always be frustrations around rotation and cautiousness, but don't think it would be anything like as difficult to endure as it has been this season where he bought players to suit the championship. Despite the players who left and those who were brought in, he was still left with the bulk of a squad he hadn't hand picked. I don't think he is the type of manager who's teams would ever be exciting to watch where they had a much stronger squad than the rest of the league they were playing in. His natural cautious style just isn't suited to being gung-ho and making the most of the overwhelminging dominance at his disposal. I suspect that is what went wrong at Real Madrid and Chelsea. In a league where we will be competitive at best I think he will come into his own - as we saw at the end of last season where, despite the horrific form we had shown, he probably had a more skillful and talented group of players than he has this year. It might take him a few years to really build the sort of team he wants though, so I hope he is around long enough to see just how far he could take us.
Him staying is like guaranteeing me a next year of happiness, long time between now and enda season though, nevermind next season
