Looks likely that Rafa is on course for a record then. I'm more pleased that we seem to have reached the stage of looking professional, well drilled and confident. Leeds were another form team that we've beaten, and clearly were the better side. But some nice records to break - it would be rude to say no.
Doesn't quite have same impact given it's in Championship but looking good for title. Pretty much in your hands to lose
We need to keep going and not rest on laurels. If we are playing same by end of January 2017 then I'll stop whittling and if we are 12 points clear with only 11 to play for then I'll relax.
You've got the best manager in the league by a mile and the best finances so although nothing is guaranteed in football, it's as much of a cert as you're going to get I think. You guys obviously won't be counting chickens till all is done, but the ones that should have been closest rivals in Norwich, Villa, Derby haven't been close to you in terms of performance and results Only thing have to be worried about is keeping hold of players in Jan, but unlke most Champ clubs, you can compete from a wage perspective against most mid table Prem clubs who could be interested in some of your players
Honestly think it would have to be a top 6 or 8 side and very good money for us to sell. We don't need the money and what's the point in a player leaving for a bottom half of the table side if we're likely to be that next season anyway? Suspect most people would like to hang around and finish the job, unless our wheels are coming off ofc. ps. Aarons has been immense this season but if Liverpool time a £50m offer correctly he could be the Stirling replacement you're looking for.
