Lampo and Terry leading another dressing-room revolt? Why do you think that Mad Dog wants shot of those two?
Apparently he attacked the teams "stars" and the fought back. I doubt it would be Terry - though he was clearly pained to watch us on the bench. Could be Lamps again? I don't know - media speculation.
If we lose at Boro or against West Brom and Rafa will go. He hasn't the respect from anyone... anyone at all
Anyone that has played the game at any level will understand Lampard would have been livid with being subbed after missing a penalty, it was a tactless thing to do by Benitez, and JT would have been furious being left out of both games. Ivanovic and Cahill are too similar, neither read the game well IMO. Had the right team/tactics been deployed, City were there for the taking.
I was a leader in the condemnation of Terry and Lamps for their part in AVBs' sacking. I will be a leader in praise of them if they can achieve the same result with Benitez, the fat, useless plank.
It takes a bone-head to appoint a bone-head. While we're stuck with Roman, we're not stuck with the board. I want to see Ron Wormtongue Gourlay out. The title we won in 2010 could hardly be attributed to his stewardship, and we have gone downhill ever since. We need a strong CEO with the nous and the balls to balance Roman's madness, and Gourlay is just about the opposite of that in every regards.
Terry wasn't part of the AVB sacking - neither was Cole or Cech. It was Lampard, Drogba, Anelka and Alex.
It was the French clique all behind AVB's sacking + Lampard/Mikel/Alex. The Portuguese/English contingent were all on side. Drogba didn't get AVB sacked, AVB decided to take him on and he responded. I actually thought Drogba was one of few to come out of AVB's tenure with any credit. He was brilliant in the CL and brilliant in important league games v City/Newcastle and even Spurs.
I would imagine that Rafa's 'job' is to do what AVB failed to do, shed the old guard and that's he has been told it directly. I imagine the board see the team is broke and why fix it when a shiny new one would be far better than one using old parts and superglue? Maybe someone holds that old team in high regard and are unwilling to part with it cracks an all as it has huge sentimental value, so what you have to do is push it off the shelf and and smash it completely then turn around and say, ah never mind, I know you loved that old team but we can't fix it now it's beyond repair, everyone would agree best to get a new one eh. Rafa is the one pushing, he knows it, it is his job, he gets a nice wad of money, another line on his CV and a thank you very much.
You don't need to be Einstein to work out something is wrong. You can lie through words but you can't lie through body language/actions. The City and Prague games are more than just players not being at their best, it's players not working hard enough.
Which all name no sources whatsoever, if I copied someones story without proof does not make it true. These are the same lot that said JT knocked of Bridges ex-missus, and had to pay her damages for defamation! They have as much in common with the truth as Maggie thatcher with the labour party! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/feb/26/chelsea-rafa-benitez-bust-up
They look like a team that can't wait for the season to end. RDM should never have been sacked, and hiring the ex liverpool manager was a fricking insult!
