http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15351867.stm As the title says. Not sure when he'll be back and how much of an impact he'll ever have on the team again...
Doesn't sound good. He's definitely retiring at the end of the season, however depending on how his knee situation develops, he may choose to retire early.
I just hope he can get fit enough to get on the coaching staff when he does retire, maybe help with the U21's or the Academy. The experience of a player like him will be invaluable.
I been expecting it for a while for both him and Barnard, not sure if he will ever come back from this though? Martin is a more than capable understudy
Radhi Jaidi should be retained on the coaching staff for sure (should he want to). He is an absolute blinding character on and off the pitch and is always smiling. After all, he was one of the first installments of our glory hunting team.
That's probably that with Jaidi's career unfortunately, but he cant complain, playing until 36 and he's played for his country and in the Premier League.
Sadly.. this has got to be seen as the last of him!! But deserves due credit to supporting our cause whilst in league 1!!
So sad that he helped us to get promotion, but has not had the chance to play in the Championship with us. Good luck, Radhi.
