Lot of it about at the moment, and it’s not good! Never in my time as a supporter of Cardiff City have I ever witnessed it, and hopefully never will. I remember when we had Scottish players right, left and centre and we welcomed them in wholeheartedly....all comers welcome regardless of nationality or colour! We’ve had a few idiots, fat bastards etc, one even shat in a fellow professionals bag.....hmmmm! Racists are not friends of Masky, and as you are well aware Masky reigns! :emoticon-0103-cool:

There was plenty on the Grange End / Bob Bank in the 70's and 80's as was the norm (not good but no different to any other club) but I think we, as a club are a little more tolerant nowadays.
I work in Bristol and worked most of my life in various English towns and cities and I get untold amounts of anti-Welsh racism thrown at me from 'friends' and work'mates'. I give it back in spades (really) though as I know they are only trying to be friendly.

I must admit I don't like the "Always s**t on the English side of the bridge" chant. Could be considered banter but also the other end of the scale. How do our English players and manager feel about that?

I've not seen or heard racism at Cardiff along the lines of Tottenham and Manchester and other places and long may that continue.

Interesting fact and not reading anything into it or making a statement of any kind, Preston did not have a non white player in their starting 11 or, as far as I know, on the bench. So unusual.

Agree about the anti English stuff - it’s cringing given how many English players and management there are.

I remember it on the Grange End in the early 70's but I remember being most shocked when I watched Arsenal v Wimbledon in 1993. The most foul and abusive racist language I have ever heard was aimed at John Fashnu by an Arsenal fan I had the misfortune to be standing near. What surprised me was that people around him said nothing. That certainly made an impression on me that I have never forgotten.

Racism is everywhere and football is just another place where it comes out...... Shame really but the system is allowing this to be happening.... Look at Boris and trump the only real reason they are in power is because the people think they are the only mouthpiece they got that can get away with saying what they like without consequences.

They try to divide and they will get what they want through media propaganda and a stupid fking human species who just cannot think for themselves.........welcome to the new world order

Any thoughts on ozil being bullied for speaking truth about China whilst we bury our head.

He said this on a personal level and the club he plays for gets attacked..... They bend over and distance themselves purely for money reasons. OK I do know politics and sport shouldn't go together but it does and we should no longer be apathetic in pretending this isn't happening....

    Money or morals?
