A very fine and much under rated player for Arsenal, Liverpool, and England who suffered badly with Parkinsons Disease since 1984 RIP Ray - Another one gone
Annoyed me the BBC News thought the English Women's game was more important than the death of a legend of a man. He was a proper footballer and incredibly brave man facing Parkinsons.
You have to now even scroll past womens international friendly matches to find EFL league fixtures and scores on the BBC app, and on the BBC website What an absolute joke. More and more women are commentating and reporting on mens EFL and Premier matches, yet funnily enough not many ex pro men seem to want to do the same with womens matches. Wonder why that is ? And no, this is not being deliberately sexist, it's just to my way of thinking, it's a perverse and deliberately woke way of doing things. But who's surprised given it's the BBC ? When the womens game generates same level of worldwide interest and funding that the mens game does, then, and only then, will I be quiet about it.
Angelic Agree with most bar your last paragraph. I will never watch women's football. They wouldn't beat Paulton.
