R.I.P Highlandwhite

    Just heard the very sad news that Peter Legge, Highlandwhite, has passed away suddenly today.
    Many of you will remember him from the old beeb 606 days.
    And maybe met him at the old meetups we used to do at the whistlestop and salters.
    He also did the matchday threads on ja.
    Leeds fan through and through, truly **** news.
    My thoughts are with his family and friends.

    Indeed i remember him from the whistlestop. I read his matchday threads every game he was a stalwart. My condolences to his family and friends.

    Highland white was always a great poster and came across a great guy.

    FFS I can't believe it. I was only talking to him on FB. I'm shocked. A nice lad and his wife who was at one of our old 606 meet up. Originally from Bradford and served for years in the army. Sad news and RIP Pete.:(

    Didn't know him personally but any Leeds United fan passing especially one of long standing and obviously well regarded is a sad loss ...R.I.P.

    Have done buddy, finally got to use the place in Spain last week so once I've got into the swing of it will try meet up for a pint...will message when I'm next due out
