    They owed the HMRC £116k. Thats it. Yes thats a lot of money to us but in football terms, that is literally peanuts. Many players in the top leagues earn that in a week, some even earn double that in a week. Everyone involved in football should be sad to see a club die. Yet most wouldnt even care. Im not sure if it breaks rules (it might) but would it really hurt if the prem clubs all chipped in to pay this bill? Thats just £5800 each. The club would be saved, the fans dont lose their club, footballers wont lose their job etc etc. Yes I understand that it wouldnt be fair to other clubs and it maybe Herefords own fault for getting into the mess in the 1st place, but for the sake of losing a club and their history, I think we could allow this to save the club but to make sure the club is better run financially so not to happen again.

    Its like with the young City fan Oscar, around £50k is needed, someone like Lansdown with all his money could have easily covered this for Oscar and his family. That would have been a nice touch. Similarly, Higgs could have done the same. I know that could open the floodgates as everyone will end up asking for financial help but they could still have helped in my eyes. I think both City and Rovers fans have been great in trying to help Oscar and his family. In this financial climite where things are not easy and every penny is accounted for, we still give to help this young lad. But those who have money as wall paper who wipe their own backside with £50 notes, who could easily help and put the stress to bed of this young lads family.

    The bigger people and clubs can easily help those who are in need like the Herefords and like the Oscar's of this world. But they dont.

    Sorry about the essay, just my thoughts on it.

    Well like I've mentioned before about Bayern Munich helping out the clubs in the **** that would never happen here and totally agree about Lansdown I was going to make the same point about him <ok>

    <ok>

    Higgs can do it. I know that would make Lansdown look bad and this shouldnt be about that. Helping Oscar shouldnt be about point scoring over your neighbours but it would be a nice touch if Higgs did this for Oscar. Could use it as a way of trying to build bridges and make things more friendly between the 2 clubs.

    They'll be back. I think they have to change their name, though.
