    Kevin Gallagher from BBC Radio 5 live:

    "Newcastle have shown two sides of their game today. They dominated the game in the first 45 minutes and they scored the goals. In the second half they sat back and defended very well. Like all good teams do they saw the game out defensively".

    I feel this is what is edging us as 'the best of the rest'. We seem to have a clear understanding of how and when to see games out. We would not have got the 3pts last season. If this had been last season, conceding the goal when we did would have killed us off IMO. Once again, outstanding show of how to win in the PL by everyone involved at NUFC today. HTL!
