I'm talking about the first tier of English football. I don't know if it happened in other divisions or countries.

It must be a 'points deduction' relegation then?

You asked that question but then somehow a bit later knew the answer to my question. Good googling.

Also the only time the reigning champions have been relegated.

Man City are also the only team to both score and conceded 100 goals in a season.

Don't think it will to be honest. Dream scenario, we stay up, Boro go down, the White ****e get to the play-off final, spout off about how massive they are, Yorkshire's number one etc, and get stuffed 6-0 and Hull Whites feel suicidal and indulge in some mass hari-kiri.Wednesday will already have gone out of the picture.
We will once again be Yorkshire's only Premier League club. Maybe the council and Terry " the City of Culture year will let visitors see what a great sporting city we are. Not only do Hull folk love their rugby like they love wrestling and darts as well " Geraghty could acknowledge and make something of it. I doubt it though.

Yes. In the 1950s. Scored 104 and let 100 in. Finished fifth.

Another stat. The only club in the last 50 years to concede 100 goals in any division and not be relegated was Exeter City.

Thought you would. Though a surprising number of people seem unaware of it judging by how many think if Leicester go down it will be the first time it has happened., including some supposed sports journalists.

After what happened earlier today I hope they lose in the final to Huddersfield.

Obviously if they met Huddersfield in the play-off final I would want Huddersfield to beat them 6-0 but would prefer T W S to be be beaten 6-0 by a team from outside of Yorkshire and Boro go down as I enjoy it when we are Yorkshire's only top flight club,m something that no one would have expected us to be until very recently.

Didn't read it but knew them anyway, the sort of thing you pick up along the way when you are an oldie. Though whether today's young ones with is another matter as in the day of the Internet and decrease in book reading attention spans seem to decrease year by year.
