My memories of Drybrough cup ,Dennis Connagan threw the ball in his own net against Airdrie , did we not beat Hibs in the final 5-3 and there was no offside within 30 yards of the goal .

 

Offside set-up sounds interesting harry - was it good entertainment in terms of goals scored and do you know the exact format of the first of the three rounds - presumably all four teams played each other to begin with?

 

I only remember the final not the early rounds .

 

The Wiki link, supplied by the cheap wino bum above, doesn't give a lot of detail about the format but according to it, that 5-3 game went Hibs way after extra time, harry ... you were maybe too young to recall it accurately.
