In the pub.... Who is up for it? What day? What time? What should the quiz be based on? I personally think Sunday cuz Friday/Saturday night is when most are out on the piss (except the old lot ) and week days, we are on here enough during work without having to come back on the night If you don't fancy a quiz night, then what other suggestions can you bring to the table? Give us your thoughts gasheads!
A great idea was mentioned in another thread by Detached_Gas regarding having a regular 'pub quiz' and 'race nights' that would take place at The Skull and Crossbones Pub. Obviously we all know how a pub quiz works but an online pub quiz is more difficult as we dont know if anyone is cheating by looking on google (I wont I promise ) so NO cheating How the race night could work.... I personally love the idea. I think though it will only work if the games take place when as many of us is logged on and we know a specific time/day that it takes place. So who is interested apart from myself and chris? If you are interested..... What nights would you all want to do them on? For example do the pub quiz every sunday evening at 7pm and have the race night every wednesday evening 7pm, again just for example. Also.... Would anyone be interested in running the pub quiz? Would anyone be interested in running the race nights? (I nominate Detached_Gas )
Maybe we can take it in turns to run the quiz each week? I'm happy to go first Not trying to get out of it, but my laptop is far too slow to be in charge of the race night. There's no way I'd be able to search videos as quick as I'd have to to get the races up Happy to help where I can though
If people become interested then when we decide what time/day, on the day of the event, either me or pirate49 can edit the title of the pub thread adding "quiz night tonight 7pm" for example which will remind people on the day.
