I had the grave misfortune to listen to the utter tripe spouted by this pair of cocks. I caught them on the car radio, earlier today. They were both eulogizing over the "improvements" that Queen Kenny has made at 'Pool. All because they marginally beat a very weakened and dispirited £ity side in the Carling Cup. What improvements? Since when? Queen Kenny has made them worse, in my opinion. He has acquired some very expensive donkeys as a result of panic buying, the football they are playing is dreadful, and they are 11 points behind us at only just over halfway through the season. For any Mickey Mouser, that has got to be an utter disaster! Plus, I'm betting that £ity stuff them 0-4 at Anfield. Either that, or they'll make it to the final only to get trolleyed by Crystal Palace. I know that there are certain factions in the media that still have not come to terms with the fact that 'Pool is no longer the force that it used to be, and hasn't been for quite some time, but Quinny & Saggers were really taking the piss! They actually had me shouting at my radio, and that hasn't happened since Mike Reid used to be a DJ on Radio One.
TalkSport are excellent WUMs, HIAG. They try to get people to phone up, so they make very controversial pieces to provoke as many as they can. Liverpool have more points now than they did after the same number of games last season. I think it's about 9 points more. Is that a good return on their pretty sizeable investments? Probably not as good as they would have liked.
Indeed, they are, PNP! I got banned from the Mickeys' board for less! What seems to have happened is that there is a far greater disparity between the top and bottom half of the league this season, plus we and £ity have improved vastly. The trouble for 'Pool is that they have closed the gap on Chelsea and the Goons (although they remain behind both), but have fallen way behind us and £ity. Overall, I think they have done worse than last season, especially as both Chelsea and Arsenal will point to disruptions in their squads as the reason for their awful seasons, as will United, to some extent. None of this was considered, at all, by either Quinn or that numpty Saggers, of course. Carroll, Downing, Henderson... wouldn't get a starting slot in any team above 'Pool. And Suarez has proven that he's far too much of a liability to be of any use to them.
I said at the start of the season that Liverpool had spent quite a lot of money on players in the summer, yet none of their new signings would make in into our first XI. I haven't seen anything to suggest that I was wrong, though their defence has performed better than I thought it would. Enrique was an excellent signing for £6.3m, especially as it transformed a particularly weak position in their team into a very strong one. The rest were all fairly decent players for slightly inflated fees, in my opinion. Coates has yet to be truly tested though, so I won't pass any judgement on that signing yet.

the teams that would link the top and bottom half would consist of the likes of our Spurs..Everton..maybe villa..and all these teams have either vastly improved or declined and that has made ....'Mind the gap' sign much bigger for the gooners this year
Spot on PNP - I rate Enrique too and a bit of a bargain for £6m. Skrtel is pretty consistent now, Gerrard for all we hate about him is still an influential player when fit and Bellamy does what Bellamy does. But would I have any in place of our top 13 or 14? Not a chance!!

Liverpool's return on the amount of money they have invested represents appalling value. Particularly the sums paid for Carroll & Downing. Two very average players.
Yeah that fat deluded Mouser Quinn should be taken off the airwaves (or at least placed in solitary confinement and put on basic rations to slim down), and replaced with somebody who talks (unbiased) sense. As for Collymore, he should stick to dogging.
