It is a strange feeling isn't it. We got away with it. Mind you I was listening to the Rovers match and the number of times I thought they had equalised just blew my head. I couldn't stand it any longer and went outside for 10 mins until it was over. I came back in with tea and choc biscuits to calm myself, expecting it to be a 1-1 result. As I entered the room I heard "and police are on the pitch bla bla ..." and thought "**** they are celebrating". Then it got graver and graver and it then came home to me that Bristol R had lost. Although I felt sorry for the Rovers fans, especially those on here, I cannot describe the relief that we had survived. Immediately I phoned my daughter, and then my wife (who was in England, and still is). Could I just say that we aren't relegated? No, of course not. I had to explain the whole scenario (which they already knew) and what I had suffered during that 90mins before confirming we weren't relegated. All that stress had ended in tears of joy. My heroes.

And top marks for the near on 1,000 fans who travelled to Torquay. What dedication. Absolutely delighted for them and wish I could have been there.

Congratulations to WWFC for retaining your league status, here's hoping you don't have to go through that roller coaster next year. <ok>
