He's behind Hooper, Sami and Stokes hasn't done as well as others when had the chance.

    But he's Irish?

Does that not make him a legend before he kicks a ball?

Murphy is useless but he'd probably get a game for Rangers just now ...................................if only he was'nt Irish.

TBH we could not believe our luck when you bought him, tried hard for a year to get rid. Sad thing is he is a very good player just cant do it on the day.

You played him primarily on the left didn't you?

I think he was brought in to be a horses for courses type player. The games where we had to knock it long to get some change out of a deep lying defence. The trouble for Murphy is that things have come together for the rest of the team a little more quickly than even the most optimistic of Celtic fans could have hoped and we have elected to keep on keepin' on rather than take the direct route.

He is rightly behind a good number of bodies, but his attitude cannot be questioned.

It was a decent enough fee for a player who is not that good.
