Your knowledgable posters stated, "that the best team wins the league" right ? So If Real Madrid win the CL md Athletico win the league...does that mean that Athletico are a better team than Real...? ... and there goes any credibility ... the most inaccurate title for any competition in existence as 75% of the teams in it were not champions at all ... it should perhaps be called the "Money Spinning Reward For Not Winning Your League (with a minority of actual Domestic Champions) League" not perhaps the best way to try and emphasise your point

The is a gulf of difference in the class of the teams in the group stages. It would be like you in a group with Barnet, Chester & Hyde.
