Anyone who may have seen the game via stream or actually at the match. Did Adkins play the 4-3-3 he has been so far or a Diamond? From what I gathered of the 20 mins I listened to he changed it to a Diamond with Ramirez in the hole?

First half it looked like a flat 4-5-1. I didn't pay much attention to the second half.

It started 4-3-3 (otherwise known as 4-5-1). When Ramirez came on he pushed further forward. I think that's what happened anyway. Seeing as we had JWP and Morgan sitting in midfield I don't think you can call it a diamond.

It was more 4-4-2 with Ward-Prowse and Schneiders holding. Gave some protection for the rest to attack. After 20 mins of the second half Clyne started to bomb forward too. Looked pretty good for 30 minutes with no real threat though. Wil take time but Ramirez took some weight of Lallana. Those 2 are going to be a great link together.

Puncheon was knackerd by 75 minutes though!!!

I think he will possibly try a Diamond with Gaston in the centre and possibly Lallana and Punch out wide, i'm hoping he starts Jay up front, he hasn't had a crack of the whip yet up there and in all honesty it's the formation which suits us best. I'm not keen at all on the 4-5-1 way to exposed on the wings.

    How I understood it:

    -------------Davis---------------
    Clyne----Fonte----Yoshida----Fox
    --------JWP------Scheiderlin-----
    ------------Ramirez--------------
    Puncheon------------------Lallana
    ------------Lambert--------------

Ramirez also did a good bit of back tracking, I noticed him get quite a vital tackle in at one stage. Looks like a good player.

Saw it as 4-3-3, but we should play 4-2-3-1
