ENGLAND V NZealand . ONE DAY INTERNATIONALS 6 MATCH'S SO 6 INNINGS EACH HOW MANY RUNS WILL EACH SIDE SCORE ( no game = ave of all played games count ) 6 innings TEAM BATTING SECOND GETS REMAINING OVERS AVERAGED UP TO 50 OVERS if they win in less overs, ( eg England 297 -8 in 50 ovr, NZ 298 -6 48 ovr so NZ get extra 13 runs . . or . . NZ 300 all out 46 overs, ENG 301 42 ovrs so Eng get extra 57 runs [ 301/42 x 8 = 57) my guess.... ENGLAND win 2 + + + + runs 1740 NZ win 4 + + + + + + + + runs 1830
NO CRICKET FANS OUT THERE THEN ! England win ---- score --------- runs NZ win ------ score -------- runs
nor me! one day internationals 6 match's each have an innings First to bat will always go to 50 overs, which means second team might only need 40 overs or?? overs to beat it, hence the second to bat gets the averaged up score ! If second team all out in 40 overs tough they have not played well !
Ok - think I get it - I think England maybe lucky to win 1 match (so 5-1 to NZ) New Zealand 1796 England 1510 ps what happens if a match is shortened - how does Duckworth-Lewis affect this?
simples wiz 6 games of 50 overs each so each team from past results is likely to score at 5/6/7 or so an over ( 50 x 6 = 300 runs x 6 innings = 1800 runs or 50 x 5 = 250 x 6 = 1500 ) almost impossible to get a tie so 6-0 would be the most a team could win it by so you say ENGLAND 4 -2 ( if 1 was tied it would be 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 ) Its like a modern day international version of the old Sunday cricket of the 70's and 80's, when SOMERSET HAD BOTHAM GARNER and VIV RICHARDS.
