Questions for Nicola Cortese

Hi Guys

I have volunteered to travel to Kenya in November with The Saints Foundation to do two weeks charity work with communities and schools. There are 25 that have volunteered and during the trip Nicola Cortese and his wife are to fly out and spend some time with us. We will have the opportunity to speak with the great man.

I was wondering what questions people on the forum would like to have answered. I could even put together a list of questions and then see how many I can get answers to and report back after the trip.

Two questions, neither of which will probably be answered!

Are the Liebherr family looking to sell the club anytime soon?

Is there conflict of interest between himself and the Liebherr family in regard to the club?

i'd ask about the new fa academy structure and what class we are going to be.

 

Good question and one he's more likely to answer.

 

I wouldnt ask a negatively tinged question if you want genuine answers.

 

Who is his favourite player?
Would you ever go on the pitch and address the Saints supporters over the PA?

 

Good advice, that's why I wouldn't expect him to answer my questions! Or if he did, not be honest!

I'm interested to see what plans there are for the U21 team i.e. if they could be entered in some sort of league or what.

Also see if there's any chance for a bigger student concession cut

 

Ask him if he wants a song sung about him by the fans or if he's jealous of the ones who get their own songs!

 

Ask him if he will dump his wife and marry me?

 

ask him how many horses heads he has dished out since being at saints?

 

They sang a song for him at the Birmingham game..doubt he actually likes it.

 

Does he understand the offside rule? always wondered how much he actually knows about the actual game.

 

Doesn't matter really. His job is to know about business and finance. The man suffers when we play like a true fan..that's enough for me.
