    In no particular order;

Will Gus's style of play suit Danny Graham who done ok at Swansea with this style of passing football.

We used to joke about Stoke buying players from us that we considered not up to it yet they consistently do better than us. Now Hull are doing it. Danny Graham could end up being the SAFC player who didn't get relegated this season.

Why do people say we spent 'big' in the last window when our net spend was £800,000

Why don't we buy players who will go straight in to the first team (as opposed to squad players)

Why don't we just buy KI...it will free up a loan place for a striker.

We could also buy Borini who is showing lots of effort.

When the mags went down they kept almost all their first team squad, can we do that.

I still reckon we'll stay up although I think that's more from the heart than the head.

    **** me, that's a lot of questions.

Ki, love it if he signed, time will tell, depends on what league we are in.

    Borini.......see above.

Graham, i'm guessing time fades the memories for some.

Someone else can answer the rest.

Borini cost Liverpool something like 11m, they won't let him go and we wouldn't pay that for him either. I'd only pay 5-6 million for him but surely Liverpool would turn that down.

We must sign Ki, if he would want to come. He probably wouldn't sign for us until the summer to see what league we are in anyways.

Would Graham be any worse than Jozy?

I think they are both poor goalscorers but not bad footballers. Replacing one with the other wont help our situation. We need a proper goal threat and Fletcher is clearly struggling on his own to be that person week on week.

We need a Defoe type player (he will never play outside London again) who is a little fox in the box for us.

Why don't we just buy KI...it will free up a loan place for a striker - Swansea wont sell imo and even if they did, it would take a large offer of cash to free him. Do we have large amounts of cash?

We could also buy Borini who is showing lots of effort - again, not sure Goofy will sell him permanently and if he did they would want the £11m they paid. They don't have to sell after all and Ki and Borini would cost in excess of £18m imo.

When the mags went down they kept almost all their first team squad, can we do that - do we want to? This shower of ****e needs peddling whatever league we end up in.

I still reckon we'll stay up although I think that's more from the heart than the head - its not impossible that we will still stay up but we are going to make it as difficult as possible for ourselves.

it'll be very difficult to attract anyone useful to this team while on the verge of relegation this winter. I think we should work with what we have and bought to rip out our PL registration. And checked transmarket website and found that net spending was 3.9m

No chance the fans would DG him the chance. We've already got a forward who suits the style but because he isn't finishing well, he's the new Heskey.

****ing hate our fans at the moment. Large pockets of them will always be a thorn in our side. They make their mind up after ten games then that's that, weather it be our safety, Jozy, DG, or whoever/whatever. No knowledge of football, No patients for the game. Just frustrated little kill joys.

Brave of you to suggest DG like fella.

Agreed but is that such a bad price for quality players? I would be happy if they signed for that figure mate. Ki would be a hard act to replace at any price, there just aren't that many players of his type around and decent strikers are like rocking horse ****, we should know, we've wasted millions trying to find a decent striker. Think about it Cest, £18m wouldn't be that bad of a price for those two.

I can see where you are coming from mate, but Altidore has scored like 2 goals in about 40-45 premier league games. It's a shocking record regardless of age.

When Newcastle went down Michael Owen, Mark Viduka, Obafemi Martins, Damien Duff, Sabastien Bassong, Habib Beye, Geremi and Peter Lovonkrands (who we then re-signed) all left. Plus Joey Barton only played a handful of games for us that season as well.

Where we did well was fringe players and unfashionable players surprisingly stepping up to the mark: Colocinni, Enrique, Ryan Taylor, Nolan, Guthrie, Leon Best, etc all hit great form and then carried that into the premiership. Some players are too good for the championship but dodgy in the Prem and a bit of confidence goes a long way. You would probably find that the likes of Larsson, Colback, Cattermole, AJ, Bardsley, Fletcher and perhaps even Altidore would look like different players in the championship.

This. It's all very well supporting players but at some point you just have to hold up your hands and admit they just don't have what it takes to score at this level. His goals return is abysmal by any standards and that tap in miss v Cardiff was inexcusable. I don't dislike Jozy the man, he seems a good lad tbh but as a premiership striker he is shockingly poor and he will cost us dearly if we persist with him. Fletcher isn't all that either at the moment but he has a record that suggests we can afford to stick with him. For the short term anyway.

I've just simultaneously ordered some eggs from one High St supermarket and ordered a grilled chicken from another.

I might be able to answer some of your questions when the doorbell rings <ok>
