I feel sorry for the poor ****ers these days £27k debt and they end up conducting research on survey monkey and get feck all in terms of lecture time.
£27k you must be joking. £9k tuition fees, 3 years of maintenance loans, £1k over draft and the interest. When I graduated Uni the debt figure was round £35k -£37k. Agree with you feck all lecture times
I have two daughters one who just got in under the old £3k tuitions and ended up doing pgce on the£9 k rate. Now has debts of £30k but even in decent money as a teacher she won't ever pay it back.the youngest did £9k a year course, left with£50k debt, now paying £6k no loan to do a masters. Next year starts three years doctorate, they pay you good money to do that... Then she is going to uss to work. Not one penny of student loan will be repaid... Only the Tories could have invented this system.
Yup that sounds about right for the student loan system feck off to another country for 15 years and you don't have to pay it back. I graduated Uni in 2010 and not earned the Student Loan Fresh hold and prob never will. Might not ever have to pay back my student loan. Wasn't the Tories that created the ''Loopholes' it was Laabour
But it was the tory cnuts with the spineless liberals who turned loans into Monopoly money. Your kids won't get to go to uni. The debt blackhole will close them all to ordinary joes.
9K was ridiculous and my mum won't vote Lib Dem for the raise but I don't believe you should have to get Student Loans to continue your education. It'a just a tax on Education
I agree but and sorry if it causes offence to anyone there are too many Mickey mouse degrees. Meeja studies Business studies Modern dance Islamic studies Theatre studies Drama Tv production To name 7 pointless and worthless degrees.
Most degrees are just a way to avoid work for a few more years, and then moan about the dept they have got themselves into.
