Been talking with a guy in work and neither of us can think of who Spurs play at RM when Lennon is injured...

I swear you had a decent player who covered but i genuinely cant think of who it was...

    We don't.

VDV or Kranjcar, neither of whom are RM. Sometimes even Modric.

    Bentley! LOL.

It might of Been VDV then... I think it may have been:

    Bale - Modric - Parker - VDV

Looks like an area Spurs might want to look at... Hazard would be immense in that position and you will have done VERY well to get him but i reckon you will definately need CL footie to get him first and foremost...

I cant remember the last time i looked at Bentley and thought "He is a good player" lol!

I can. He was wearing a Blackburn shirt at the time. There was a couple of mins when he scored against Arsenal, but that was a false dawn.

We also had Pienaar up until the end of January but he was injured most of the time anyway.

Dos Santos, who never gets a game and doesn't look great on the odd special appearance?
Kranjcar, who played there when we beat Newcastle (sorry) 5-0 and Liverpool 4-0, but also when we got stuffed at the Emirates?
Van der Vaart, who basically plays in the middle when he's picked there, anyway?

No idea who Redknapp thinks is supposed to play there in Lennon's absence, to be honest.
He basically abandons that position whenever he's out.

Can't think why he's looking a bit jaded.
Perhaps we could stick Corluka in and give him a rest? Oh, wait...

If we had Corluka we could move Walker upfield and they could have had the same partnership as Lennon/Corluka.

    Just a thought.

said this many a time Spurf..however such imagination and squad usage requires a managment with a bit of know how.......HR cant even replace like for like.

There is no direct replacement for Lennon in terms of pace, etc. I would agree with Spurf, Walker is the closest we have, but then who plays at RB? Kaboul has done it, but I think we look more secure with him in the middle.

this is where he should have kept Corluka happy and played him a bit more especially when Walker was looking burnt out..even if he got a match every 3/4 games he would have been satisifed possibly. Corluka and then Walker in front of him maybe?

    squad rotation Harry.

Rather than making walker carry the right hand side when Lennons injured i personally think someone like Frei (of Fulham) who can actrually beat a player would fit in well...
