Anyone else think the the TRANSFER WINDOW should close when the season starts ? Watching some of the CL & EL play offs last & this week I noticed that some players were playing that have been rumoured to be moving to verious clubs & therefore be (EL/CL) cup tied. Maybe the same could be said about the (English) lge cup too. Not alot happening on here so just thought I´d chuck a Q in.
I actually preferred it when the transfer market stayed open until march time so at least if a player left you could bring in another. Better for long term injuries, suspensions as well. I believe it was FIFA who brought in the rule as well so that's another reason as FIFA are muppets!

Don't think he would make a first choice goalkeeper in any prem team atm (apart from perhaps at QPR ) If he wanted to warm a bench in a prem side, im sure Nigel would find another for a fraction of the price, he bought in Weale
Yes all these last minute moves would still be last minute, but happen earlier. build a squad pre season and stick with it.
