Yeah wasnt bad from here in Brissie. Me and the boys put the welding masks on and went outside to the car park. we saw 86% of it (apparently), but further north was supposed to have been spectacular. The sky was an sullen eerie grey colour and it was quite spooky actually. boys up north got into it big time. The stopped the factory and everyone had a vantage point. Defo worth seeing..if thats your thing. thousands of people flew into Cairns and Darwin for it. My mate teache s diving on the reef and he was taking people over to Phillips island for it, but all the divers refused to dive whilst it was going on..superstion apparently !! bit ike a full moon. Did you guys get much coverage ?
BBC showed a bit, some good pics on the net as well. Would have liked to have been there for a holiday anyway,eclipse or not.
