Indeed. Either that, or it was the dodgy breakfast I had on Sunday still making itself known. I spent most of Monday in the khazi.
No disrespect intended to you FHB. And my earlier reference wasn't really about the BBC presenters. But some of the people they interview (so-called experts) get my goat, the way they go on. And the "people's vote" politicians take the biscuit, wittering on about democracy. Oh the irony!
We should have a 'Peoples Vote' … we have already had a referendum on leaving the EU so the peoples vote should ask the following question … How should the UK leave the EU.. 1) With Mrs May's deal 2) Without a deal.
Absolutely. There should be no 'remain' option and no option that has to go back to Parliament for more tampering. Once the decision is known, the Commons just rubber-stamps it. But it won't be that way, and we all know it.
Before If you want to hear Boris spout his lies you'd better have £100,000, whereas poor old Ken Clarke only gets £14,000 for 2 speeches. David Davis, whose words seldom stand up to scrutiny gets about half of what Boris gets for a speech, Nick Clegg the same. Chris Grayling is my favourite, he manages to get through an interview without saying anything. BTW J R-M said before the referendum that there should be a ratifcation vote on any deal. Nigel Farage said that if the vote was 52-48 that would not be the end of it. Just saying.
So is Ken, obviously. So more even than I thought, just that the leavers contribute more on the subject.
On another bizarre note, more and more TV adverts are now being aimed at leavers or remainers; These are the ones I have noticed; Remain - HSBC (german, german, japanese, german...we are not an island) Leave - Carling (made local) Good stereotyping going on here; Remainers, here is an International Bank you might be interested in... Leavers, have a beer Any other divisive adverts been spotted by anyone?
Well he spotted, Lardi. Surely it's a bit insulting to suggest that leavers like Carling, probably the worst lager in the world. Isn't it remoaners who call leavers stupid?
What has Brexit got to do with Quality TV Programmes FFS That said, Emily Maitlis on Newsnight is lovely and her classic eye roll towards that waffling Labour MP this week was a classic.
Yep. I've got some in tubs in the garage, but it will be at least a month till they go outside. Got caught that way two years ago by late frost. Monty is not the vegetable guru he makes out, made a couple of bad mistakes at least. The women love him though........
As long as you 'earth up' if there is a risk of frost then there shouldn't be a problem PS ….. you know full well that I am not a woman
