Was Kenny one of the first comedians to get the cameramen and stage crew all laughing at his exploits? He's the first one I can recall doing that anyway.
Very sorry to see Andrew Neil leave the Beeb. Along with Jon Snow he is easily the best interviewer by a long way. Always well briefed and incisive in his choice of questions. Told a friend of mine years ago he wasn't worried if we got our revolution, there will always be a need for political journalists. Witty and humorous with it.
Andrew Neil is the ONLY world class journalist on the BBC, him leaving would shown up the BBC as it really is... a left wing self interested pressure group with currently only one policy, that being to keep the UK in the EU. The BBC do not wish to fund free television licences to the over 75's …. that's fine …. privatise the BBC and they wouldn't have to worry about the over 75's paying a licence fee …. nobody would have to. Fortunately it is just 'This Week' that is ending, there is no talk of Andrew Neil leaving the BBC, he is still doing his Sunday shows.
As Super knows, I’ve had many good chats with Andy McDonald about football - he is a massive Boro fan, and attends just about every game. It was sad and depressing seeing Andy tying himself in knots over anti Semitism on QT last night, but emblematic of the problems the Corbyn Party now has.
He did not like the "Baroness Chakrapati" jibe, but everyone except the most fanatical Corbynistas saw that blatant reward for a whitewash for what it was.
Life in the Zoo is a quality programme. Last nights served as a reminder of what beautiful and intelligent animals elephants are. Amazing.
More elephants are being born without tusks, unfortunately only the females. Let's hope it helps them beat the poachers.
There are some excellent programmes on ITV4 today I’ve just watched a classic episode of the Avengers (Tara King ) with a stellar supporting cast including Christopher Lee and Dave from Minder. What happened to quality British dramas like these? @baraettmattesvensson will be pleased to hear that this was followed by an episode of Kojak
SEarch me. It's all murder mysteries these days, +the odd costume drama. There has been a series of Moving On on BBC recently, why they hide it away at 2:15 in the afternoon I don't know, almost like they are ashamed to show something which might offend someone somewhere.
