Thought John Malkovic was the best Poirot ever. I read all the Poirot books and did not guess a single one correctly.
Enjoyed Billy Connolly. I used to see him in the Humblebums when they came to Kilmarnock. There were some very funny Glaswegians as well as him who packed the place out when they came to Kilmarnock.
The funniest man was Hamish Imlach, not only a fine guitarist but slipped a constant stream of one-liners into his songs with perfect timing, without missing a note. Matt McGinn was the most prolific song-writer, whenever he played at Kilmarnock there would be at least one song about a recent minor news item, whether it was a councillor sleeping through a council meeting or a grocery van owner being paid in kind by women who were skint. When he died they found 500 unused songs in his loft.
Started watching The Good Place. Kristen Bell (nice!) and light hearted comedy. Abyone watched Birdbox or the Black Mirror episode where you choose your own storyline
Is the new Black Mirror any good? I'm planning on watching it this weekend. Birdbox is pretty decent. One major hole in the plot, though: why can't the all-conquering demons get inside houses?
It's good Black Mirror. Although had to watch it on my partners tablet as it was not compatible with my BT TV box or on Apple Devices. Which is super frustrating. There was a couple of plot holes in Birdbox; like how did them birds survive drowning, squishing, and loads of other things. See I thought that too, but they was in hospitals. I'm thinking Aliens.
I thought that about the birds. They even survived the rapids! Sandra Bullock is still a fine-looking lady.
Only a 4/10, I'm afraid. She's a nice-looking girl, no doubt about it, but just a little too skinny for my liking.
