    Eden Hazard
    Adam Johnson
    Ibrahaim Iffaley
    Yann M'Vila
Taylor (from Newcastle, which ever ones the good one, I dont know which is which).

But what are these targets for?

Isnt Sissokho a left back? I dont think we need to sign any one there, unless its a back up.

I'm happy with the Adam and Lucas combo to, so I dont think Martinez is needed.

Hazard no chance in Jan,probably no chance at all,hes Barce/Real bound IMO in summer.Johnson signed a new City deal in last couple of days

Fair shout with M'Vila n Afellay.Dont think Taylors good enough

Wrong Sissoko, Op was refering to Moussa Sissoko who plays as a CM/DM for Toulouse. The left back is Aly cissokho who plays for Lyon.

I think realistic targets (for next summer) depends on where we finish this year. Without CL football next year you can kiss goodbye to any notion of getting Hazard or players similar who will have offers from a host of clubs that all have CL.

The only guy in the prem id like, who we would have a chance with, who would improve us, would be Hoillett

Hoillet looks to be a good youngster. I remember his name being being bandied about last season but I didn't know what the fuss was. But I don't want us to buy someone like him for over the odds for 'potential' again. jkiel91 has a point about Bent, Villa are not the team he thought he was joining, now Down and Young left. Can't really see KK doing that one though.
I personally like Goetze, I think he is a leader who can drive our midfield forward and create even more. But that is a FM buy really.

How old is Bent? Regardless of his age, he is a goal scorer and is exactly what we're after. Unfortunately, he will cost over £24m as Villa will want to recoup as much money as possible. Llorente would a good target man for me.

M'Vila would be a really good shout as the central midfield is weak IMO - Lucas and Adam have no real competition (Spearing isn't good enough and Gerrard is mostly injured, whilst Henderson is a good impact sub).

Javi Martinez/Ever Banega are the types of player we need in CM. Players who are always available and can dictate the tempo.

Darren Bent will always get you goals, but he can miss the odd sitter aswell

Negrado would be a good shout but we need some one thats a proven goalscorer and their isnt many that spring to mind other than Bent, Llorente would be perfect but he could be abit pricey and im sure their will be a few clubs sniffing around him

An nearly 28 Bent is too old, I am tempted to say the same 4 Negredo, although he is a great finisher

Heard rumours of Dries Mertens,he looks quality

Player we are being MOST linked with though is Luuk De Jong

TBH , I will be surprised if we DONT sign someone in Jan, I actually think we may sign 2 players.
Id like out of the ones mentioned, Christian Erikksen, nigh on certain to a class player.Id also love Lucas Moura, we have been linked him, with a few of the less reputable media a sources such as caught offside. He looks like he could become as good as a player like Ronaldinho or Rivaldo

We HAVE to compete for the TOP young players, and try and get in before other clubs do.We mustnt accept lesser quality players

My problem with those is are they going to help us now? Why spend ott in january when you could get them cheaper (maybe mnore competition) in the summer? I know Lucas is killing it at Sao paulo and Erikksen is another Ajax product that oozes class, but would they help us now? I feel like this January we would sign help for now and save those for the summer.

I think we will replace Meireles' position in Jan. Just don't expect any exciting names.

Lucas Biglia and Lucas Moura, along with Lucas Leiva create the Trinity of our success. Just wondering what your name might change to! <yikes>

****in I wish! He would be perfect but too little and too late. That would have been nice in say 08-09 but doubtful now.

In order to attract the better quality players, we need Champions League football. We will then be able to at least compete with other top clubs.

In order to get CHampions League football next season, we need to improve quickly hence why I believe we need to strengthen in January. Not wholesale changes of course - just a good striker and maybe a right a winger.

Is that Toivonen cat doing the business still at PSV? Not sure if he was any good or not, just knew we were linked with him.

I think both Lucas Moura and Erikssen would be absolute certain starters, missing the occasional game but palyin more often than not, and they both have that liitle bit of quality in the final 3rd
