A poster on QPR board has just said one of the reasons for their poor showing was that they couldn't enter the transfer market until late (true), and by then Norwich and Swansea had bought up all the good, although not well known players! If they had bought all those players and a couple of big names, they would be better! Excuse me, but didn't they spend all their time telling us our new players were nobodies who would never make it in the Prem. and that we were jealous of their 'big name proven Prem. class@players? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/130142-Where-did-it-go-wrong!#post2447137
At the time, many of them said that us signing unheard of players with NO Premier League experience was the fastest way to get relegated. Which - at the time, justified their signings of SWP, Kieron Dyer, Barton, etc. Just cos it's gone tits up, Hoops, don't start blaming Norwich for all your ills
I know I've said this a few times in the last couple of days, but i hope they feck off back the championship. Maybe it's because their travelling support is so limited that accounts for their predicament
Must admit dave, I´m sitting here with a wry smile on my face thinking about their current predicament, it´s not about how much money you´ve got, but what you do with the money you do have, that counts. Still, they´re not down yet and we´re not entirely sure of being up, but I know which club I´d rather be supporting. OTBC
Are they slowly learning that loads of money and big name signings aren't always the answer? Just waiting for a QPR fan to come on here and tell us to f off!
They have the hardest run in as well. At one stage I thought they would stay up but if I was asked right now I would say Wigan, Wolves and QPR for the drop.
