Strange they left it so late in the week.

I'd imagine the QPR fans will be happy with nothing less than a world class manager to get the best out of all their world class talent

I think they should get Guardiola or Mourinho..anything less will be seen as a disappointment.

It would be a classic case of 'sod's law' if, under mark Bowen, they beat ManUre on Saturday <yikes>

You really think it would make that much difference had someone came in during the week? Man Utd would still be red hot favourites to win

I believe TF was out of the country most of this week, hence the delay in action. The other board members could not/would not dismiss him themselves.

A lot of speculation about 'Arry but who knows. He is apparently in the Ukraine right down to discuss managing over there!

tony fernandes seems to like spending money, so i won't be suprised if they get a 'big' name like Harry, or even someone bigger.

He will feel at home with all the bribes that go on over there.

If they're looking for a big name then why not Luiz Felipe Scolari?

Glenn Roeder has a connection with them. His management skills are phenomonal with the high earning star players at clubs.

Rodent is still heralded as some kind of legend there after spending a lot of his playing career at Loftus Road <doh>

That job has got Redknapp's name all over it and I'd bet my house on it that he's the boss by the end of next week. There was absolutely ZERO chance of him ever taking the Ukraine job, that rumour was nothing but bluster and posturing in order to get Fernandes to "hurry up and sack Hughes before you miss out on 'arry"

Incidentally, I've not looked at the coupn for this week yet but I'm awfully tempted to stick a cheeky bet on koo pee arr getting a result at OT tomorrow. Probably get something like 12/1 and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if ManUre slip up again <ok>

    (cue a 6-0 home win)

    Afternoon lads.

Hope you've enjoyed the head start we've given you.

With 'arry, Sandra and Rosie the dog on board coupled with an excess of World Class Talent we should be just above you by the turn of the year.

Best of luck, keep looking nervously over your shoulders

You should be ok with 'Arry Wubba, he turned Spurs around when he first went there, and I'd imagine TF is wealthier than Daniel Levy, just hope that MH hasn't caused a closing of the purse!

    Cheers Dave

We tend to look at it this way - its never ever boring following the Rangers.

We sit here now in the arse of November, winless and managerless. Will it be another Survival Sunday or Europa League spot? Looks like I picked a bad week to give up smoking...

Finishing 17th and one place above the Canaries would suit us fine

Not sure if you've been paying much attention to us lately, with all that's been going on
at Lofty Road, but we've recently beaten Arsenal, Stoke and ManUre in the league.
Plus Spurs in the Capital One cup.

No nervous glances over the shoulder around here just yet, squire <ok>

A rare visit these days fella.

I guess we will now see if it was the manager or the players huh?

What I am trying to get my head round is that MH managed to get the team working well enough in the run up to survive, including a very good home record. If he was completely and totally useless, how did he achieve that? Hence I am not convinced it was 100% MH's fault but the players not doing what they are paid to do. Reports suggested back in August that everything was tickety-boo in the changing room so that does not help to explain the terrible start to the season. Really makes me wonder just what has been going on there.
