Joker Jimmy would be welcome addition to any club
Queens Park Rangers - QPR weigh up their options and may make a move for Jimmy Bullard

Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard could be on his way to newly-promoted QPR as manager Neil Warnock looks to bolster his squad ahead of their first crack at the Premier League.

It would seem Bullard’s time at Hull is over but such was the healthy nature of his contract with the Tigers, that his wages have become an issue when the prospect of a move to another club comes up.

Warnock has expressed an interest in the 32-year-old, who has been retained by Hull for the past two seasons after his move from Fulham back in 2009.

Bullard, who played Barclays Premier League football with Wigan, Fulham and then briefly Hull, has been linked with a handful of clubs this summer, but the Hoops now appear to be winning the race for the former Peterborough United player.

Warnock said: “We have been linked with a lot of players. I have spoken to three or four personally, but we haven’t been able to afford either the transfer fees or the wages.

“We are down the line with a couple. Jimmy Bullard is one of a number we are talking about. We need strikers and centre halves. We need a number of positions filling.”

With the financial backing of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone and Indian billionaire Rajya Sabha, a deal could be made soon despite the west Londoners limited movement in the transfer market so far this summer.

Warnock continued: "We would like to bring three or four good players in and I'm sure we will in the next few weeks."

Bullard had been linked to a deal with Ipswich in June, where he was on loan last season, but the Tractor Boys were unable to meet the player's wages and manager Paul Jewel has given up the chase for the player.

"Jimmy was great for us and I think we were good to Jimmy. But finances speak at the end of the day. Jimmy's on a fantastic contract there (Hull), he's on a top Premier League contract, everybody knows that," said the former Wigan boss.

"He probably won't play here again. That's not through a lack of ambition, it's just through being realistic.”

Rajya Sabha is the term used for part of parliament in India ... like House of Commons or House of Lords in the UK, or Senate or Congress in the US.

It's like saying QPR is part owned by the billionaire house of Lords!

Whoever wrote this piece is a complete TIT. All it is is a mixture of two interviews given to other people (Warnock to Sky this morning for instance) with a few other bits and pieces written to stitch them together.

There was only one little bit he/she had to write for themselves ... and they cocked it up!

Let the ugly **** stay at Hull, everywhere he goes they struggle. If he was any good Fulham would have kept him.
