I agree with almost everything you say here but I have a bone to pick with it...

Walsh in goal over Nardi??? Explain that one!

From what I have seen they are pretty equal in goal-stopping ability. I know Nardi is under instruction to play it out from the back but I have seen a dozen occasions where a quick released ball could have been an effective way to go, but he holds back and does not take the responsibility to make a decision and then re-starts the game once again slowly from the back line.

On the couple of times I have seen Walsh I feel his ability is equal to Nardi but once he gathers he is on the front foot looking to release if possible, so my gut is telling me that at least he will take it upon himself to try something different and get the ball moving quicker. At least that's what I hope.

Both Varane and Larkeche named in L'Equipe team of the week. Larkeche scored the winning goal last night for Dundee in their 3-2 win against Kilmarnock. His third goal of the season from left back. This season long deal is increasing absurd as we have no left back as Paal is still out.

I've seen Walsh play a number of times and he has had some good performances. But I've also seen him have howlers, including being nutmegged twice in a match. That was recently, in the cup. That match alone showed me that he is not quite ready. But he certainly has raw ability and probably just needs more experience.

Nardi, on the other hand, is the best keeper we've had since Dieng, and he might even be better than Dieng. He seems very professional, especially considering the chaos he's had in front of him. He's made some amazing point blank saves and always seems to know where to be. He's very proactive and comes out to clear. In the grand scheme of things, we have a very good keeper in the league but also a decent backup in Walsh.

Why we are not recalling him now when our only LB is out injured, I don't know! Surely, we must have written in the loan deal contract that we can recall him if we have an injury with our only LB (Paal)??
