To be fair Chair should've scored with his header after 5 mins. Was a poor header from 6 yards and was so weak it allowed the keeper to get across and save it. Could've been a totally different game if he'd buried that. He needs to practice his heading from close range after that miss and the one against Derby !

Lack of pace on the ball didn’t help him

There was enough on the one he put against the post from 4 yards v Derby ! Just don't think he's a good headerer of the ball, it's not one of his forte's. Practice needed

He's just over five foot when standing on a pile of yellow pages - don't think he's ever going to be a centre forward unless someone sticks him on a rack

Spot on about the way Stoke tactically out played us and that we possibly shouldn't have played with wing backs.
Very over the top concerning their keeper though, especially describing the save from the Austin volley as if it was a worldy.
It wasn't just under the bar or anywhere near. It was a save, like all the others that every keeper in the championship would have been disappointed to have not made.
It is great that we have so many attempts, but we need to be more clinical more often.
Dieng’s double save in the first half was better than anything Davies had to do. But he did save everything we threw at him. Our finishing was definitely off, but at least we made the chances. In the not too distant past we would have not known how good the opposing keeper was because he wouldn’t have had to save anything.

Completely agree.
It's great that we're so good going forward, with a brilliant shot count.
I just didn't see their keeper make any saves that weren't completely expected.
Agreed about the Dieng double save.
He had no idea that it was offside.

Doesn't have to be tall or a centre forward to head the ball in from 6 yards ! There have been many little uns who were fine headerers of the ball just ask Tim Cahill. All I said was he needs to be practising them
