Should we give he lad a rest If we didn't know he was brilliant the last few performances wouldn't have given much away. Little stick and carrot to him and another youngster Or do we keep him with Mass missing?
Competition for places is good. Eze is regular this season and could be rested, as opposed to dropped, to the bench for a match. I would not be against placing him on the bench for Reading and using him for the Villa match.
If we drop him I’d rather give BOS a chance and play Freeman in the middle. Chair is still exceptionally raw and a bit more pace against a team low on confidence and seemingly insistent on passing out from the back wouldn’t go amiss.
Maybe we need a bit of rotation.....give Pawel and Eze a rest so they are fresh for villa... With mass away on Asian cup duties bring in cousins to play beside scowan so 2 other changes max for reading game....
No. Wrong game with it also being Luongo's 1st game out. McClaren has been doing well with keeping changes to the minimum needed, and should continue. I agree it looks like Eze needs a rest soon though.

Reading haven't won since the 3rd of November, a run which has seen them draw four and lose four in their last eight. This run leaves them in 23rd, and 3 points from safety. We, on the other hand, have now won our last three, and have won four, drawn two and lost two in our last eight. A good win today, and we could finish the year 5th, but this seems unlikely as Boro are playing Ipswich at home. However, given the position we were in after a few games, credit has to be given to McLaren and the team. I would have bitten your hand off if you'd have told me at the end of September, having already seen us lose 7-1 to West Brom, that we'd end the calendar year within touching distance of the playoffs. Things seem to be heading in the right direction, and I am encouraged at what I am seeing. Looking forward to going tomorrow as I am back visiting family for Christmas, and can't wait to join in with the cries of, COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!! From the official; Rangers hoping for another royal victory QUEENS PARK RANGERS will be looking for their fourth win in a row when taking on Reading at Loftus Road, in what is the R’s final game of 2018. The second half of this calendar year has undoubtedly been a memorable one with QPR on the cusp of the play-off positions with the first period of the campaign now complete. It’s fair to say Steve McClaren and the players have completely turned things around since the opening month of the term, but with plenty of football left to play, no one at Harlington will be getting carried away just yet. And if you want an example of how things can quickly turn around in football then perhaps there is no greater illustration then our opponents Reading. When Reading were beaten on penalties by Huddersfield Town just over 18 months ago there was still a firm belief amongst pundits and fans that the Royals would push for promotion the following season. However, three points was the difference between them staying up and going down last year and things have not improved this campaign, with the Berkshire outfit situated in the relegation zone. After dismissing former Swansea City manager Paul Clement, Reading have now turned to Portuguese Head Coach Jose Gomes to try and turn their fortunes around. There were certainly signs of improvement in his first game in charge against Millwall on Boxing Day. The Royals played most the match with ten men after Tyler Blackett’s early dismissal and despite losing the game 1-0 had more possession, and on another day could have got a point. A goal from Rangers captain Toni Leistner was the difference between the two sides when we met at the Madejski Stadium earlier this term with the R’s coming out 1-0 winners.
No . Got to disagree with that . 3 Pts for me this Saturday with strongest team . We’ve won three on the bounce with minimal changes . Let’s keep it going. Not one for unnecessary rotation, remember ollys continuous clueless changes , formations etc We have the winning formula at the moment , let’s keep it .
Chair in for Mass, but I am undecided about the Ebe situation. I feel he could do with a game on the bench just as much as BOS should be given a chance. Although, not changing the line-up has been a predominant factor in our improvement from last season. Exciting conundrum involving our young prospects.
Always a bit wary of these rare occasions where a logical neutral would say we are odds-on especially after a run of games with minimal changes in personnel. Some of them will be running on fumes. No idea how important Blackett and Bacuna are but saw Reading had two reds at Millwall so will presumably be weakened. Apparently there was a Stam-esque insistency on playing out from the back so hope to see that again.
Not sure. He certainly seems a little low in confidence, which is a vital ingredient for this type of player. Making as few changes as possible has been one of the reasons we have done so well imo, plus we already have to replace Luongo. A goal would do him the world good. Mind you, he really is hated by a lot of our fans. The vitriol he received from those around me in the upper loft was quite shocking. Mind you, the same idiots were shouting "get it in the channel" at regular intervals too.
We have a lot of fans who would rather see a fist-pumper like Bircham who bleeds blue and white but can’t pass a ball five yards. You need a bit of both of course but Eze is a wonderfully talented kid.
Assuming the backline is still ok ( no lynchitis)... Cousins in for Mass is a no brainer. So only option for me is resting Eze. Personally I'd would tell Eze he is only playing for 45 minutes, to allow Chair or BOS 45 minutes. I would not rest Wszolek in this match, as he is on fire. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
