Roll up, Roll up, for the Norwich City show! You're in for a big surprise Wednesday evening, because not the fans, the manage, not even the players know which Norwich City side will turn up and that's not just due to injuries! Like a Watford manager with just a few games left of the season I wonder whether I can survive until then, or even until the end of the week. Who knows? Norwich sit 10th after losing at the weekend and only have one win in their last five. QPR are 20th with no wins in their last five. So two teams short on confidence, but I don't think the game will be as bad as the Sheffield United game even with half our team injured. I don't think Wagner will stick with the team that lost so heavily at the weekend, I think I would start with Sargent up front, sorry Pukki thank you and all that, but you're an impact sub for the rest of your NCFC career. Nunez behind Sargent, Tzolis on for Marquinhos? Or Aarons on the right and Byram in right back, or he has played CB before so perhaps Byram as CB and push Sorenson into midfield? Decisions, decisions. QPR haven't won against Norwich in five and Norwich are going for their third win in a row away at Loftus Road. Probably no more content to follow.....
Live on Sky red button. Quality thread Zogean_king. You are in situ till end of season, including the Wembley final
As far as I can see, that would mean TWO of the following would have to happen: Millwall win three of their last four games, or win two draw two and keep a better goal difference than us Blackburn win four of their last five, or win three and draw two Preston win all of their last four games Coventry win all of their last four games Sunderland win all of their last four games with a better goal difference than us West Brom win all five of their last five games, or win four, draw one and get a better goal difference than us (but we would need to beat them anyway in order to win our last four, so this isn't really relevant). So if by some miracle we could win four out of four, I think it's pretty likely that we'd be in the play-offs, especially since several of these teams have to play each other.
Some people revel in negativity , even if by some miracle we do finish top 6 & win at Wembley. They would be straight onto how badly the team will get thrashed next season .
Following the win at Blackburn Rovers I was pretty confident that City would get another win on the road at Loftus Road. Not so much because City were good but more that QPR have been horrific this calendar year .... but now, I am not so sure. It could go either way in my opinion. Can't say that I am looking forward to it, assuming I get a decent stream.
I probably will not bother getting out of bed for this. 2.45am start for me, got up for the Boro game unfortunately.
The only part of that I have confidence in is the Gibbs-Sarah partnership. I would add Gunn, but he comes to far out sometimes and it makes me nervous.
As a certain Bob Dylan once sang “the times they are a changing” Pukki starts on the bench where he should have started many games ago. Great striker now past his best. Which team will turn up tonight?
We’ve managed to pick a team that leaves us both incredibly open at the back and unlikely to score. I think you’ll all have a very pleasant evening.
