Eberechi Eze - Youth Player with Milwall from 2014-2016 2016-present - QPR 20 (5) Match Preview; I'll post the full preview when it goes on the official, but I have some hope for Wednesday night. We've lost one in our last four, with two wins and a draw, whereas Millwall have now lost three in a row before drawing their last match 1-1 against Leeds. I reckon it'll be a great atmosphere, London derby, under the lights, against a team who always have a lively following. Full Preview; London Derby awaits in-form R’s QPR take on Millwall in what is an exciting London Derby to be played live in front of the Sky Sports cameras. McClaren’s side are unbeaten in their last four games and seemed to have turned the corner after a tough opening month. Millwall are in 19th, one place below the Hoops and have only registered one league victory this season. But the Lions position in the table is somewhat misguided – they’ve had a number of close matches and should have beaten Championship leaders Leeds last time out. QPR come into the game unbeaten in their past eight home fixtures against Millwall. Last term provided one of the games of the season as a late comeback saw QPR draw 2-2 with Neil Harris’ side. This will be the first time QPR have played in front of the Sky Sports cameras this season and the R’s will also be live on the box for Saturday’s game against Norwich. Loftus Road is often buzzing on nights like this so here’s hoping for more of the same this evening. COME ON YOU R'SSS!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we beat Millwall on Wednesday!? Horrible club and spectacularly horrible fans.
Recently, whenever I've seem them, they look extremely organised and the whole team seems to be fully on board with a plan. Compare that to us!
Here's one from the history books. Our visit to The Den in 1972 when we were already confirmed as being promoted from the 2nd Division when we managed a 1-0 win, they were a hard side to play against even back in those days.......
I was there with my dad. We kept very quiet. Having just watched that again I am sure it was heavily edited in our favour, but man we were a good team. Venables was superb.
My least favourite visit to LR of any season and the only game these days where the tactics surrounding fan control are more relevant than those of the teams. Presumably the game has been shifted to a Wednesday (from our normal Tuesday slot) to allow enough police to be in attendance. Quite why the public should have to put up with the inevitable intimidation and disruption around the ground in the 21st century continues to mystify me. Have to turn up so as not to let the thugs win however...
Maybe as it's on the red button the usual Sky hoodoo won't affect us. Aren't we on, on Saturday as well?
Apparently, they've decided to keep the home fans in for 30minutes whilst allowing the lovely Wall fans to leave and lie in wait.
